So I took a career match by color test and well this is what I got...
INTRODUCTION
The Dewey Color System® is the world's first and only validated, color-based personality career testing instrument. Based on our experience and your interests, your best suited occupations are listed below.
Best Occupational Category
You're a CREATOR
Key Words:
Nonconforming, Impulsive, Expressive, Romantic, Intuitive, Sensitive, and Emotional
These original types place a high value on aesthetic qualities and have a great need for self-expression. They enjoy working independently, being creative, using their imagination, and constantly learning something new. Fields of interest are art, drama, music, and writing or places where they can express, assemble, or implement creative ideas.
CREATOR OCCUPATIONS
Suggested careers are Advertising Executive, Architect, Web Designer, Creative Director, Public Relations, Fine or Commercial Artist, Interior Decorator, Lawyer, Librarian, Musician, Reporter, Art Teacher, Broadcaster, Technical Writer, English Teacher, Architect, Photographer, Medical Illustrator, Corporate Trainer, Author, Editor, Landscape Architect, Exhibit Builder, and Package Designer.
CREATOR WORKPLACES
Consider workplaces where you can create and improve beauty and aesthetic qualities. Unstructured, flexible organizations that allow self-expression work best with your free-spirited nature.
Suggested Creator workplaces are advertising, public relations, and interior decorating firms; artistic studios, theaters and concert halls; institutions that teach crafts, universities, music, and dance schools. Other workplaces to consider are art institutes, museums, libraries, and galleries.
2nd Best Occupational Category
You're a PERSUADER
Key Words:
Witty, Competitive, Sociable, Talkative, Ambitious, Argumentative, and Aggressive
These enterprising types sell, persuade, and lead others. Positions of leadership, power, and status are usually their ultimate goal. Persuasive people like to take financial and interpersonal risks and to participate in competitive activities. They enjoy working with others inside organizations to accomplish goals and achieve economic success.
So yeah for those of you that know me I almost went to art school. I was accepted and everything. During the summer I decided that I probably would be better off if I went to a regular college first to see if there was another career path I would like to follow.

My trip to kansas went by very well. I was able to give everyone their last 2 years of christmas present!

Little Don loved his fuzzy feet

We had some pies from the Pie Lady. The blueberry was to DIE for.

I found a local yarn store close to my dad's house and went there the monday before I flew out.

Sheep in the window!

Procrastination is my middle name
I should be:
I did let the cats into their cat aquarium. They are enjoying the nice post rain weather.
I think i am going to get started with the laundry seeing all of the clean towels are sitting in the dryer just begging to be put away!
Last night I did get a bunch of sock yarn wound into cakes at Kelly's house while watching a movie. There were only a few mishaps with not paying enough attention to the yarn. All was saved though. I also brought over my massive bag o' death. Kelly and John got to see the last two years of Christmas present that I will be handing out next week. I also got my dad's kitchen towel knitted up last night. I just need to find a button that is white, blue, or light brown to sew on it!! (Pictures have not been taken of the towel yet. That is also on the to do list) I also noticed that Casey's (FYI: my sisters youngest daughter) scarf would not work for her anymore. So I searched and found Kelly's Paton Decor yarn from the stash box and casted on the mistake rib scarf. I am a few inches into it and so far it is turning out nicely.
Well back to work *sigh*
Update: I found a button for the towel. Will sew it on at knitting tonight (Kelly make sure you bring a needle in case I can not find mine.)

- Cleaning the kitchen (few glasses hanging out and floor needs to be cleaned)
- Packing for my trip

smothered to death
So I just started on the second color repeat of the ripple blanket.

I have taken yesterday and today off (sick days). For some reason ALL of the animals have felt the need to be right next to/on me at all times. But they don't care that I am not feeling good.

And here is a quick picture from work on Wednesday. We cam across three of these little guys. Each encounter they seem to be bigger. This was the last one we cam across.

feesh
Let me start off by saying I love short work weeks. It is already like half over! That is something that I need right about now. My knee started acting up on me again last friday. Every now and then it will bug me but not like that. I couldn't walk on it at all. In fact it is still bothering me today. I did not let it affect the fishing trip. It was awesome! I ended up getting 5 fish and a whole lotta sun!!

Josh got to drive the boat!

made it to seattle!
I am 1200 miles into the "race" Surprisingly, I have been able to keep up with this whole thing. Work has been long as usual. My charlie cat got out during the week. I put out the cat trap and successfully caught two other people's cats. Charlie decided he did not want the food in the trap. I was able to recover him today. He decided to take a nap outside the screened in porch. Now that he is back in the house it feels like a huge weight has been lifted from me.
Hopefully this next week will go a little smoother for me!

Onward to the Netherlands!
Today I have taken up the impossible. I will be walking* to the Netherlands from Denver, CO. This begins tomorrow, April 1, I am only allowed to get 100 miles a day in as well.
*NOTE: I am not actually walking the Netherlands. I am virtually walking to the Netherlands. My work is sponsoring a wellness challenge. We have to "walk" via working out. Each minute of working out gives us points. The points we get in the day will be transfered into miles. We are also doing this in groups of up to 6 people. so far my group has 4 members. Somehow I became the team captain....I have NO idea how that happened.
If anyone would like to join me on my trip to the Netherlands let me know. I can't officially sign you up but I will give you the ins and outs ;)
In other news I finished my Easter sock the day before Easter (pics to come). I have joined the Yarn Pirate Booty Club. My first shipment will be in April (sqee!) I have been on the news with my job (in the distance). If you are interested in the clips please let me know and I will show them to you.

Completely Speechless
I am sick....I have managed to pull myself through the work week without dying or telling my coworkers that I outta there. It was a tough decision to make. If I left I could go home and sleep and prob still feel like crap. Our project would be further delayed (obtaining permits this time around was a NIGHTMARE!) I managed to get my crew out of there early on friday with hopes of leaving at the same time. Well that didnt happen exactly. When I did get out of there I went home and called my doc's office. Come to find out they get out of there early on fridays! ARG Luckily, I was able to make an appointment with one of there other offices. Once I got there I think I was in the waiting room for less than 5 minutes before they called me back. I think my consent coughing was freaking everyone out. One lady gave me a box of tissues (because the 10 in my hand I guess was not enough) and others were coming over asking if I was alright.....If I was alright I wouldn't be in a doctors office. Since I have lost my voice I didn't really say anything....just smiled. I should be well enough to go back to work on monday but I was told not to expect my voice to be back by then.
I did get to see this awesome sunset from my hotel last week!

Also, this morning (at 630) while I was up coughing in the kitchen I heard this noise from outside. I stood by my window and oh snap that is a barred owl!!! Then he took flight over to my house....If I wasn't coughing I probably would have hunted him down and got some pics.

Piles O Cats
This weekend I have been somewhat productive (with things that distract me from what I REALLY should be doing) Yesterday busted out my sewing machine and attempted a box bag. Overall it turned out ok...I think my bobbin tension is out of whack.

This morning I released the kittens into general population...and took lots o pictures (check out my flickr account). I placed the kittens, Mage, Charlie, and Athena all out in the screened in porch and they pretty much just sat there. Right now I have them all running around in the front room. There were a lot of hisses and growls but no fights broke out.

What done is done
This will be a quick little post just getting everyone up to speed. I spent last friday with Kelly (and John). We got a quick bite to eat and then went back to her place for a movie. It was quite an amusing night!
This week has gone by pretty fast. I have been working hard in the office! There have been a few close field events I have been on but mainly office work.
All in all it has been a very crazy (and stressful at times) week. Hopefully next week will be a little better and certain people will be dealt with. I believe strongly that people will get what is coming to them. Unfortunately, it might happen later rather than sooner.
